OUR STORY

When we started our family, we lived in Madison, WI. Our family grew faster than we ever planned through double adoption and bio kids, and we were thrown into the world of decision making. What would we feed our kids? How would we raise them? We grew gardens, baked food from scratch, and raised chickens for eggs in our Suburban backyard until we found and moved to a property in Argyle, WI in late 2022. We dove into learning abut raising livestock, gardening, building fences, etc. We expanded our little flock of chickens to include turkeys, guineas, and ducks. We bought our first family milk cow, a lot of electric fencing, and fumbled through our first seasons of rotational grazing. We spent years of reading, experimenting, and figuring out what farming means to us and how we should live out our conviction to steward the land. We’ve had plenty of mishaps along the way, tried things we decided not to stick with, and built a family culture around hard work and good character while watching our property go from weedy and overgrown to flourishing green pastures. We’ve shared our meat, eggs, and plant starts with friends, family, and coworkers, and now we’re ready to share it with YOU!
